Before production
Check positioning or mounting, inspect the mould area and remove loose scraps by the recommended method. Make one sample before a batch.
Cleaning
Use manufacturer-recommended materials. Keep faces free from dust and oily handling. Do not apply solvents or lubricants to contact surfaces unless permitted.
Unusual resistance
Stop stiffness, grinding or inconsistent movement and ask for model-specific support. Do not assume the answer is WD-40, oil, a spring adjustment or extra force.
Failed closure
Confirm the finished size, shape, shell and back system, and mould compatibility. Paper cutting dimensions can differ from finished product dimensions because the design may need a wrap allowance. Match the actual template and cutter specification to your exact component system; a matching size label alone does not prove compatibility. Check component order, print dimensions and tool condition rather than repeating failed presses.
Storage
Store in conditions appropriate to the supplied instructions, cover against dust where suitable and label component formats separately. Retain the confirmed refill reference.
Repair and life
Send model details and photos when requesting support. Confirm available replacement parts. Life depends on materials, use and care; no fixed commercial years or cut count is promised.
